At the end of the day, despite the promises to work together, we are seeing more and more committees being muzzled.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"9379850\" data-originallang=\"fr\">I heard someone mention it is happening at the Standing Committee on Justice and Human Rights. I could say the same thing about the Standing Committee on Transport, Infrastructure and Communities, which is still shut down. For over a month now, it has been impossible to get any public information about what is going on at this committee.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"9379851\" data-originallang=\"fr\">As Minister of Justice, does my colleague not think it is important for there to be transparency in the decisions that are made in the House so that people have an opportunity to speak out on important issues?</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"9379852\" data-originallang=\"fr\">Right now, given everything this government is trying to do and despite their talk of collaboration, I get the feeling that, for them, collaboration is a one-way street. We have to do what the government says, and that is the end of it.</p>",

Depuis plus d'un mois, il est impossible d'avoir des informations publiques sur ce qui se passe \u00e0 ce comit\u00e9.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"9379851\" data-originallang=\"fr\">En tant que ministre de la Justice, mon coll\u00e8gue ne trouve-t-il pas important qu'il y ait de la transparence pour ce qui est des d\u00e9cisions qui se prennent \u00e0 la Chambre pour donner la chance aux gens de s'exprimer sur des enjeux d'importance?</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"9379852\" data-originallang=\"fr\">Pr\u00e9sentement, compte tenu de tout ce que ce gouvernement essaie de faire et malgr\u00e9 les paroles de collaboration, j'ai l'impression que, pour eux, la collaboration ne se fait que dans un sens: nous devons faire ce qu'ils nous demandent et \u00e7a s'arr\u00eate l\u00e0.</p>"
