Crime is up and criminals walk free. Bill <a data-HoCid=\"11482450\" href=\"/bills/44-1/C-5/\" title=\"An Act to amend the Criminal Code and the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act\">C-5</a> and Bill <a data-HoCid=\"9745407\" href=\"/bills/42-1/C-75/\" title=\"An Act to amend the Criminal Code, the Youth Criminal Justice Act and other Acts and to make consequential amendments to other Acts\">C-75</a> strip mandatory minimums and entrench catch-and-release policies.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"9119618\" data-originallang=\"en\">When will the government work in good faith with the Conservatives to eliminate mandatory minimums for extortionists and repeal the catch-and-release laws that are hurting our country? </p>",
