I think she should walk down any street in Ontario. It is harder than ever to buy a home. At no point in history has it been harder to buy a home in this country. That is not getting better; that is only getting worse. </p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"8880013\" data-originallang=\"en\">In fact, the president of the Residential Construction Council of Ontario said, \u201cHousing projects have been shelved and the industry has hit a wall. The outlook is bleak, and we are trending in the wrong direction.\u201d Their prescription was \u201cto lower the tax burden and modernize the [building] process\u201d and get government out of the way. What was not in their prescription was a fourth bureaucracy to build homes that people do not want.</p>",
