The precedence he cited are examples of statements that were made in the House and that have nothing to do with his apparent desire for the Speaker to go about policing what people say in conversations far beyond.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"8362768\" data-originallang=\"en\">I do want to draw the attention of the House to something that occurred on June 13, 2022. The <a data-HoCid=\"278709\" href=\"/politicians/peter-julian/\" title=\"Peter Julian\">NDP House leader</a> was giving a speech in the House and he said, \u201cWe have had absolutely wacko claims by Conservatives.\u201d I will note that the NDP House leader was not called to order at the time. With false indignation, the NDP House leader wishes to call, on the carpet, people who have said words that he himself has said in this chamber and was allowed to say.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"8362769\" data-originallang=\"en\">The point is that the Speaker did not call the <a data-HoCid=\"278709\" href=\"/politicians/peter-julian/\" title=\"Peter Julian\">NDP House leader</a> to order at the time, and a precedent was established. If the NDP House leader is outraged by what has gone on, he needs to reflect and to consider the state of his own conscience and whether he has some words he needs to withdraw in the future.</p>",

Avec une fausse indignation, le leader parlementaire du NPD souhaite passer un savon aux personnes qui ont dit les m\u00eames mots qu'il a lui-m\u00eame dits dans cette enceinte et qu'il a \u00e9t\u00e9 autoris\u00e9 \u00e0 dire.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"8362769\" data-originallang=\"en\">Le fait est que le Pr\u00e9sident n'a pas rappel\u00e9 \u00e0 l'ordre le <a data-HoCid=\"278709\" href=\"/politicians/peter-julian/\" title=\"Peter Julian\">leader \u00e0 la Chambre du NPD</a> \u00e0 cette occasion, ce qui a cr\u00e9\u00e9 un pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent. Si le leader parlementaire du NPD est outr\u00e9 par ce qui s'est pass\u00e9, il doit r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir et consid\u00e9rer l'\u00e9tat de sa propre conscience et se demander s'il a des propos qu'il devrait retirer \u00e0 l'avenir.</p>"
