After eight years, nothing could be further from the truth, to say the least.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"8324181\" data-originallang=\"fr\">Here we have another example involving Wendake, that I have the honour of representing in the House of Commons. Parks Canada is preparing to transfer to Gatineau Wendat artefacts that are currently on the traditional territory. The decision was made without properly consulting the first nation. As Grand Chief Vincent told the Journal de Qu\u00e9bec, \u201cif the government does not follow consultation protocols, then we will see what action we will take. ...To us, what is happening right now is unacceptable.\u201d</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"8324182\" data-originallang=\"fr\">This is nothing new. Seven years ago I sounded the alarm, but the Liberal government did nothing. It is an unacceptable situation, especially considering that Wendake runs a magnificent hotel-museum that preserves and exhibits the artefacts. The hotel-museum was built and inaugurated in March 2008 with the Conservative government.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"8324183\" data-originallang=\"fr\">It is time for the government to stop saying one thing and doing the opposite and start respecting the will of the Wendat people.</p>",

C\u2019est une situation inacceptable, d\u2019autant plus que Wendake administre un magnifique h\u00f4tel-mus\u00e9e qui sait pr\u00e9server et mettre en valeur les artefacts. D\u2019ailleurs, cet h\u00f4tel-mus\u00e9e a \u00e9t\u00e9 construit et inaugur\u00e9 en mars 2008 avec le gouvernement conservateur.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"8324183\" data-originallang=\"fr\">Il est temps que le gouvernement arr\u00eate de dire une chose et faire son contraire et qu\u2019il respecte la volont\u00e9 des Wendats.</p>"
