In fact, I would have undone the Liberal bail law in Bill <a data-HoCid=\"9745407\" href=\"/bills/42-1/C-75/\" title=\"An Act to amend the Criminal Code, the Youth Criminal Justice Act and other Acts and to make consequential amendments to other Acts\">C-75</a> six years ago, the day it was passed.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"7919109\" data-originallang=\"en\">Not only did the <a data-HoCid=\"299997\" href=\"/politicians/arif-virani/\" title=\"Arif Virani\">minister</a> go on vacation before addressing bail, but he also went to a radio station and claimed that we were holding up the reversal of Liberal bail policy. He thought no one would find out about this. In fact, he was on vacation and had allowed Parliament to rise without bail reform occurring in the first place. Let us not forget that what little good this bill would do is just undoing the damage his party already did. </p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"7919110\" data-originallang=\"en\">Finally, I would ask the <a data-HoCid=\"299997\" href=\"/politicians/arif-virani/\" title=\"Arif Virani\">minister</a> to stand in his place and apologize to Canadians for trying to gaslight them and tell them that rising crime is just a perception issue. I have given him all the data published by his own government, which shows that violent crime has raged out of control after eight years under the <a data-HoCid=\"214296\" href=\"/politicians/justin-trudeau/\" title=\"Justin Trudeau\">Prime Minister</a>. These are data points. These are facts. Will he admit it and apologize for gaslighting Canadians?</p>",

N\u2019oublions pas que les quelques petites mesures contenues dans ce projet de loi ne font que r\u00e9parer les d\u00e9g\u00e2ts que son parti a d\u00e9j\u00e0 caus\u00e9s.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"7919110\" data-originallang=\"en\">Enfin, je demanderais au <a data-HoCid=\"299997\" href=\"/politicians/arif-virani/\" title=\"Arif Virani\">ministre</a> de s\u2019excuser aupr\u00e8s des Canadiens pour avoir essay\u00e9 de les tromper en leur disant que l\u2019augmentation de la criminalit\u00e9 n\u2019est qu\u2019un probl\u00e8me de perception. Je lui ai fourni toutes les donn\u00e9es publi\u00e9es par son propre gouvernement, qui montrent que la criminalit\u00e9 violente est devenue incontr\u00f4lable apr\u00e8s huit ans de r\u00e8gne du <a data-HoCid=\"214296\" href=\"/politicians/justin-trudeau/\" title=\"Justin Trudeau\">premier ministre</a>.
