This is wonderful news. Today, all those eligible can go online and apply for the electronic travel authorization. In most situations, they will be approved within hours. That is big news for the thousands of people who will be directly benefiting throughout the country, and nowhere more than in the city of Winnipeg.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"7847518\" data-originallang=\"en\">The estimated population of Canada's Filipino community today is one million people. Manitoba makes up about 10% of Canada's Filipino heritage community. The north end of Winnipeg is where we will find the heart of Canada's Filipino community, which means that the announcement made earlier this week, on June 6, will benefit the residents of Winnipeg North more than any other community in the country.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"7847519\" data-originallang=\"en\">June is the month that we celebrate Filipino heritage. What a great month it is.</p>",
