"en": "<p data-HoCid=\"7866645\" data-originallang=\"fr\">Madam Speaker, I am pleased to rise at this late hour in Ottawa, where it is almost 11 p.m., to speak to the Senate amendments to Bill <a data-HoCid=\"11501554\" href=\"/bills/44-1/C-9/\" title=\"An Act to amend the Judges Act\">C-9</a>. </p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"7866646\" data-originallang=\"fr\">I would like to start by saying hello to my constituents in New Westminster and Burnaby. In British Columbia it is almost 8 p.m. and so the sun is still up. I know that is also the case in the ridings of the member for <a data-HoCid=\"278480\" href=\"/politicians/tako-van-popta/\" title=\"Tako Van Popta\">Langley\u2014Aldergrove</a>, the member for <a data-HoCid=\"278535\" href=\"/politicians/tracy-gray/\" title=\"Tracy Gray\">Kelowna\u2014Lake Country</a> and my colleague from <a data-HoCid=\"278635\" href=\"/politicians/taylor-bachrach/\" title=\"Taylor Bachrach\">Skeena\u2014Bulkley Valley</a>. For the people of British Columbia and for everyone listening to the debates in the House of Commons, we are in the thick of things. I know that there are some constituents listening and I applaud the fact that they are listening after supper to what is happening in the House of Commons. </p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"7866647\" data-originallang=\"fr\">The NDP will support Bill C-9 and the recommendation on the amendments. I will come back to that in more detail later. First of all, I am concerned that the Conservative Party is once again trying to block a bill. This has been going on in the House systematically for years. As I have said before, there are two blocks in the House: the Bloc Qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois and the block-all Conservative Party, which never misses a chance to block a bill, even the ones it says it supports.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"7866648\" data-originallang=\"fr\">We just heard an excellent speech by my colleague from Langley\u2014Aldergrove who spoke about\u2014</p>",

J'y reviendrai plus en d\u00e9tail plus tard. Je vais dire auparavant que cela m'inqui\u00e8te que, encore une fois, le Parti conservateur est en train d'essayer de bloquer un projet de loi. C'est arriv\u00e9 syst\u00e9matiquement \u00e0 la Chambre depuis plusieurs ann\u00e9es. J'ai d\u00e9j\u00e0 dit qu'il y a deux blocs \u00e0 la Chambre, c'est-\u00e0-dire qu'il y a le parti du Bloc qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois et le parti \u00ab bloque-tout \u00bb, soit le Parti conservateur, qui essaie toujours de bloquer un projet de loi, m\u00eame s'il dit qu'il est d'accord.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"7866648\" data-originallang=\"fr\">Tout \u00e0 l'heure, nous avons entendu un excellent discours de mon coll\u00e8gue de Langley\u2014Aldergrove qui parlait justement\u2026</p>"
