        "en": "<p data-HoCid=\"7858163\" data-originallang=\"en\">Mr. Speaker, I am quite disturbed that we are sitting here having this debate tonight on changing the Standing Orders through a forced vote. I have been around this place for some time, since 2004. Whenever there have been changes to the Standing Orders, they have been done through consensus, not by having one party or its collaborators, this time the NDP, ramming it down the throats of all the other parties. This is a dangerous precedent that the Liberals are trying to set. The member mentioned that we needed to do this during the pandemic. First of all, if she missed the news, the pandemic has officially ended, according to the WHO.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"7858164\" data-originallang=\"en\">Second, we know there was an opportunity during the pandemic, when we were all here, to make the changes that happened to ensure that Parliament can exist through virtual Parliament.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"7858165\" data-originallang=\"en\">Third, the one thing that happens in virtual Parliament that does not happen here is that there is a lack of empathy. We cannot interact with other members on Zoom like we can in the House. We miss out on the sidebar conversations that happen between all members of the House, not just within their own caucuses. That is the way we build personal relationships. Those relationships were destroyed because of the pandemic, especially for those who were elected after 2019. I can tell members that if we want to repair that and make this place a more inclusive, collaborative chamber, then we need to get rid of virtual Parliament and work side by side on dealing with the issues that are important to all Canadians.</p>",

Premi\u00e8rement, elle n'a pas lu le m\u00e9mo: la pand\u00e9mie est officiellement termin\u00e9e, selon l'OMS. </p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"7858164\" data-originallang=\"en\">Deuxi\u00e8mement, nous savons qu'il aurait \u00e9t\u00e9 possible pendant la pand\u00e9mie, alors que nous \u00e9tions tous ici, d'apporter les changements n\u00e9cessaires pour faire en sorte que le Parliament puisse exister par l'entremise d'un Parlement virtuel.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"7858165\" data-originallang=\"en\">Troisi\u00e8mement, l'une des choses que provoque le Parlement virtuel comparativement \u00e0 la pr\u00e9sence \u00e0 la Chambre, c'est le manque d'empathie. Nous ne pouvons pas interagir avec les autres d\u00e9put\u00e9s sur Zoom comme nous le faisons \u00e0 la Chambre. Nous ne profitons pas de ces conversations parall\u00e8les qui se produisent quand tous les d\u00e9put\u00e9s sont pr\u00e9sents \u00e0 la Chambre, et pas uniquement au sein de leur caucus. C'est ainsi que l'on tisse des liens. La pand\u00e9mie a d\u00e9truit ces liens, surtout chez ceux qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9lus apr\u00e8s 2019. Je peux dire aux d\u00e9put\u00e9s que si nous voulons r\u00e9tablir ces liens et rendre cette enceinte plus inclusive et collaborative, nous devons tirer un trait sur le Parlement virtuel et travailler c\u00f4te \u00e0 c\u00f4te sur les questions qui importent \u00e0 tous les Canadiens.</p>"
