The list, first and foremost, may have been withdrawn from public scrutiny, but we have heard from the Liberal <a data-HoCid=\"293773\" href=\"/politicians/pam-damoff/\" title=\"Pam Damoff\">parliamentary secretary </a>that it is going to go over to this so-called expert firearms advisory committee. Yesterday in the House, she said that they will look at what they should ban from that list. Those were her words. Therefore, I do not think the list is gone; it is just going to an unelected advisory committee with less transparency. The committee will have meetings in the dark behind closed doors, so to speak, so there is that.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"7759614\" data-originallang=\"en\">I think part of the member's question was in response to the Liberal member who asked me the first question, and I would agree with most of her assessment. The committee has been working very well. Had the Liberals not been so sneaky with their underhanded amendment in November, we would have been past Bill <a data-HoCid=\"11814598\" href=\"/bills/44-1/C-21/\" title=\"An Act to amend certain Acts and to make certain consequential amendments (firearms)\">C-21</a> a long time ago. This is on the Liberals for being underhanded and sneaky, bringing forward the worst amendments to attack hunters in generations, at the 11th hour in committee. That is not on us; that is on them. They dragged this out.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"7759615\" data-originallang=\"en\">The <a data-HoCid=\"278921\" href=\"/politicians/marco-mendicino/\" title=\"Marco Mendicino\">minister</a> then made us wait for six weeks. Now we are resuming. They call what the Conservatives have done a filibuster. The NDP lead on committee has spoken more than almost anybody else; I will make that very clear. It is ridiculous. Therefore, I reject completely that this is on the Conservatives. It is the Liberals' fault that we are in this mess with Bill <a data-HoCid=\"11814598\" href=\"/bills/44-1/C-21/\" title=\"An Act to amend certain Acts and to make certain consequential amendments (firearms)\">C-21</a>. People just have to look at the committee record to know that.</p>",

Le comit\u00e9 travaille tr\u00e8s bien. Si les lib\u00e9raux n'avaient pas opt\u00e9 pour un coup fourr\u00e9 en proposant leur amendement sournois, en novembre, nous aurions termin\u00e9 l'\u00e9tude du projet de loi <a data-HoCid=\"11814598\" href=\"/bills/44-1/C-21/\" title=\"An Act to amend certain Acts and to make certain consequential amendments (firearms)\">C-21</a> depuis longtemps. C'est en effet la faute des lib\u00e9raux parce que, \u00e0 la onzi\u00e8me heure en comit\u00e9, ils ont sournoisement propos\u00e9 les pires amendements depuis des g\u00e9n\u00e9rations pour s'attaquer aux chasseurs. Ce n'est pas notre faute, c'est la leur. Ils ont fait tra\u00eener les choses.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"7759615\" data-originallang=\"en\">Le <a data-HoCid=\"278921\" href=\"/politicians/marco-mendicino/\" title=\"Marco Mendicino\">ministre</a> nous a ensuite contraints \u00e0 attendre pendant six semaines. Nous reprenons maintenant le travail. Les lib\u00e9raux qualifient ce qu'ont fait les conservateurs d'obstruction. Le porte-parole n\u00e9o-d\u00e9mocrate au sein du comit\u00e9 a pris la parole plus souvent que presque n'importe qui d'autre, que ce soit bien clair. C'est ridicule. Donc, je rejette compl\u00e8tement l'id\u00e9e que c'est la faute des conservateurs. C'est la faute des lib\u00e9raux si nous nous retrouvons dans un tel p\u00e9trin avec le projet de loi <a data-HoCid=\"11814598\" href=\"/bills/44-1/C-21/\" title=\"An Act to amend certain Acts and to make certain consequential amendments (firearms)\">C-21</a>.
