This is a minority group originally from Afghanistan.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"7714129\" data-originallang=\"en\">The petitioners are asking the government to recognize the ongoing genocide and persecution of the Hazaras by the Taliban. As well, they are calling upon the Government of Canada to prioritize Hazara refugees as part of the 40,000 Afghans being brought in by the end of this year.</p>",
