"en": "<p data-HoCid=\"7697904\" data-originallang=\"en\">Mr. Speaker, the next petition I have to present is from Canadians from across the country who want to have the right to be protected from discrimination.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"7697905\" data-originallang=\"en\">Canadians can and do face discrimination, and it is fundamental that Canada has the right to be politically active, which is in the best interest of Canadian democracy.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"7697906\" data-originallang=\"en\">They want to ensure that public debate and the exchange of differing ideas continues, and they are asking for Bill <a data-HoCid=\"11610193\" href=\"/bills/44-1/C-257/\" title=\"An Act to amend the Canadian Human Rights Act (protecting against discrimination based on political belief)\">C-257</a> to add protection against political discrimination to the Canadian Human Rights Act.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"7697907\" data-originallang=\"en\">Therefore, the undersigned are calling for the support of this bill to defend the rights of all Canadians to peacefully express their political opinions.</p>",
