He made reference to Bill <a data-HoCid=\"10926636\" href=\"/bills/43-2/C-10/\" title=\"An Act to amend the Broadcasting Act and to make related and consequential amendments to other Acts\">C-10</a> and the amendment process. I think it clearly demonstrated the interest of the government, when modernizing the legislation, to get it right. We saw a number of amendments that, in fact, ultimately changed the form of Bill <a data-HoCid=\"11528728\" href=\"/bills/44-1/C-11/\" title=\"An Act to amend the Broadcasting Act and to make related and consequential amendments to other Acts\">C-11</a>, and I think that is good for the industry as a whole and for future Canadian content.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"7257075\" data-originallang=\"en\">The member made reference to the word \u201cfreedom\u201d, and I think there is a fear factor out there, as some are trying to say that this is a limit on an individual's freedoms. Could he provide his thoughts with regard to the issue of the Conservative Party in essence saying that this is an attack on individual freedoms?</p>",
