"en": "<p data-HoCid=\"7104166\" data-originallang=\"en\">Mr. Speaker, in mid-April, I had the opportunity to visit Winnipeg on behalf of the <a data-HoCid=\"214329\" href=\"/politicians/diane-lebouthillier/\" title=\"Diane Lebouthillier\">Minister of National Revenue</a>. While there, I met with public servants at the Canada Revenue Agency\u2019s Winnipeg Tax Centre. They have many responsibilities and I commend their dedication for their work.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"7104167\" data-originallang=\"en\">I also had the opportunity to engage with local organizations that are using the community volunteer income tax program. Through this program, free tax clinics are made available to eligible members of communities with modest or low incomes. I give my sincere gratitude to SEED Winnipeg, Friends of Filipino Immigrants in Manitoba and Accueil Francophone for their work and for sharing their experiences with me. Beyond providing tax clinics, these organizations also play a vital role in helping newcomers who are filing their taxes for the first time. This important work is not only about taxation, but about facilitating integration as well.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"7104168\" data-originallang=\"en\">Finally, with the deadline fast approaching, I remind all Canadians to file their taxes in order to get access to the benefits and credits that they are eligible for.</p>",

Dans le cadre de ce programme, des comptoirs d'imp\u00f4ts gratuits sont offerts aux membres des collectivit\u00e9s admissibles \u00e0 moyen ou \u00e0 faible revenu. Je tiens \u00e0 exprimer ma sinc\u00e8re gratitude \u00e0 SEED Winnipeg, \u00e0 Friends of Filipino Immigrants in Manitoba et \u00e0 l\u2019Accueil francophone pour le travail qu'ils font et pour m'avoir fait part de leurs exp\u00e9riences. En plus d'organiser des comptoirs d'imp\u00f4ts, ces organismes jouent aussi un r\u00f4le vital en aidant les nouveaux arrivants qui produisent leur d\u00e9claration de revenus pour la premi\u00e8re fois.
