It is very problematic to me when I hear day in and day out from constituents and Canadians across the country that they want access to dental care. We know that having access to dental care saves us money. There is no economic reason for us not to be proactive in preventing costs to our health care system. </p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"7371996\" data-originallang=\"en\">I am wondering if the member could share what he has to say to constituents in my riding of Nanaimo\u2014Ladysmith and Canadians across the country who are asking for dental care, instead of doing what in my opinion is belittling the need for dental care by referring to it as a trinket. </p>",

Il me semble tr\u00e8s probl\u00e9matique d'entendre jour apr\u00e8s jour des gens de ma circonscription et d'autres citoyens de partout au pays dire qu\u2019ils souhaitent avoir un acc\u00e8s \u00e0 des soins dentaires qu'ils n'ont pas actuellement. Nous savons qu'un tel acc\u00e8s nous fait \u00e9conomiser de l\u2019argent. Il n\u2019existe aucune raison pour laquelle nous ne devrions pas \u00eatre proactifs et adopter des mesures afin de pr\u00e9venir des co\u00fbts dans le syst\u00e8me de sant\u00e9.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"7371996\" data-originallang=\"en\">Je me demande ce que le d\u00e9put\u00e9 pourrait r\u00e9pondre aux habitants de ma circonscription, Nanaimo\u2014Ladysmith, et aux Canadiens de tout le pays qui demandent des soins dentaires, au lieu de tenir des propos qui, \u00e0 mon avis, reviennent \u00e0 minimiser l'importance des soins dentaires dont les gens ont besoin, en les qualifiant de babioles.</p>"
