It would be difficult to criticize this measure as the government clearly copied what Quebec has been doing for years.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"6638317\" data-originallang=\"fr\">I find it odd to hear Liberal ministers stating that they had no choice but to invest so much money because we are in a pandemic. This measure, like many others, seems to be vote-seeking measure rather than one designed to help people during the pandemic.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"6638318\" data-originallang=\"fr\">The Parliamentary Budget officer stated that the budget did not need to include up to $70 billion or $100 billion in investments because the economy would gradually return to normal in the coming years.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"6638319\" data-originallang=\"fr\">I would like to hear what my colleague has to say about that. Does he believe that the deficit is too large?</p>",

Or cette mesure, comme plusieurs autres, me semble \u00eatre une mesure \u00e9lectoraliste plut\u00f4t qu'une mesure dont le but est de venir en aide aux gens pendant la pand\u00e9mie. </p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"6638318\" data-originallang=\"fr\">Le directeur parlementaire du budget a dit qu'on n'avait pas besoin d'aller jusqu'\u00e0 70 milliards ou 100 milliards de dollars d'investissements dans le budget, puisque l'\u00e9conomie reviendra progressivement \u00e0 la normale dans les prochaines ann\u00e9es. </p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"6638319\" data-originallang=\"fr\">J'aimerais savoir ce que mon coll\u00e8gue en pense. Est-ce qu'on a trop creus\u00e9 le d\u00e9ficit, selon lui?</p>"
