        "en": "<p data-HoCid=\"6121091\" data-originallang=\"en\">Mr. Speaker, I thank the minister for his speech and for the openness with which his office has received our suggestions.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"6121092\" data-originallang=\"en\">I want to talk about a number of these suggestions that I think he and his office have received favourably.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"6121093\" data-originallang=\"en\">One, our early concern with the wage subsidy was that an employer would not find out until the end of a pay period whether he or she was eligible to receive a subsidy. In other words, employers would have to make a decision to hire people without knowing, for 30 days, whether their wages would be subsidized. We suggested that they have the ability to get an answer at the beginning of the pay period, as opposed to just at the end. </p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"6121094\" data-originallang=\"en\">Two, we raised the concern of owner-operator businesses that do not have $5,000 of wages and therefore earlier did not qualify for the CERB because they paid themselves previously with dividends. This group was not eligible for either a subsidized wage or the CERB under the original iteration. I want to know if the minister can update us on any adjustments he has made to solve that problem. I believe there is some good news for that group. </p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"6121095\" data-originallang=\"en\">Third, there is a concern about businesses that are not arm's length from one another; in other words, there is a parent company and a division. The division might have experienced massive revenue drop, but the parent company has not, and therefore the division was not, under the original proposal, eligible for any wage subsidy. I believe the ministry has taken that concern seriously as well.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"6121096\" data-originallang=\"en\"> I wonder if the minister can update us on those three concerns and how he has addressed them.</p>",

Le ministre peut-il nous informer des ajustements qu'il a apport\u00e9s pour r\u00e9soudre ce probl\u00e8me? Je pense qu'il y a de bonnes nouvelles pour ces gens. </p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"6121095\" data-originallang=\"en\">Troisi\u00e8mement, on s'inqui\u00e8te des entreprises qui ne sont pas ind\u00e9pendantes les unes des autres, c'est-\u00e0-dire les soci\u00e9t\u00e9s m\u00e8res et leurs filiales. En effet, si contrairement \u00e0 la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 m\u00e8re, une filiale a connu une baisse massive de recettes, elle n'a pas pu b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier d'une quelconque subvention salariale dans le cadre de la proposition initiale. Je pense que le minist\u00e8re a \u00e9galement pris cette pr\u00e9occupation au s\u00e9rieux. </p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"6121096\" data-originallang=\"en\">Le ministre pourrait-il nous mettre au courant du suivi qu'il a donn\u00e9 \u00e0 ces trois pr\u00e9occupations?</p>"
