The economy is paralyzed in my riding and across the entire Mont\u00e9r\u00e9gie region. If the blockades are not lifted soon, there will be some serious consequences.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"6054845\" data-originallang=\"fr\">There is the crisis with indigenous peoples, but there is also the climate crisis. We have the Wet'suwet'en, but we also have the natural gas pipeline, which the Bloc Qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois also opposes because half of Quebeckers voted for a party that wants to seriously tackle climate change.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"6054846\" data-originallang=\"fr\">From what I gather from my Conservative Party colleagues, they are not too concerned about first nations, but they certainly are concerned about the development of the oil industry. Do people realize that time is running out to address climate change all around the world?</p>",

Il y a les Wet'suwet'en, mais il y a aussi le gazoduc, auquel le Bloc qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois s\u2019oppose \u00e9galement puisque la moiti\u00e9 des Qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois ont vot\u00e9 pour un parti qui veut s\u2019attaquer aux changements climatiques de fa\u00e7on franche.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"6054846\" data-originallang=\"fr\">Or, ce que nous sentons de la part de mes coll\u00e8gues du Parti conservateur, ce n\u2019est pas tellement une pr\u00e9occupation \u00e0 l'\u00e9gard des Premi\u00e8res Nations, mais plut\u00f4t une pr\u00e9occupation quant au d\u00e9veloppement de l\u2019industrie p\u00e9troli\u00e8re. Est-ce que les gens sont au courant qu\u2019il est minuit moins une en ce qui a trait aux changements climatiques partout dans le monde?</p>"
