The legislation before us is as simple as that.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"6327916\" data-originallang=\"en\">What we are debating today clearly demonstrates the government has recognized that, even though this new program was developed in the last eight months, there is a need to make modifications. Some of those modifications will be retroactive in order to, once again, protect businesses.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"6327917\" data-originallang=\"en\">Does the member not agree that it is a good thing that virtually from the creation of the program only eight months ago, we have been able to successfully make modifications that will continue to support small businesses and the people of Canada?</p>",
