"en": "<p data-HoCid=\"6359083\" data-originallang=\"en\">Madam Speaker, I am rising in this House to speak to Bill <a data-HoCid=\"10867694\" href=\"/bills/43-2/C-3/\" title=\"An Act to amend the Judges Act and the Criminal Code\">C-3</a>, a piece of legislation that is absolutely vital. It is vital not only for today, but for the future on so many fronts.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"6359084\" data-originallang=\"en\">Before I do that, I would really like to make a huge recognition of a life lost yesterday on Manitoulin Island, of an OPP officer for 28 years in the Little Current dispatch. He responded to a call only to not be able to go home and see his family.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"6359085\" data-originallang=\"en\">I have first cousins who serve on the OPP. One of them, in fact, ironically, is the captain of the <em>Chris D. Lewis</em> OPP boat in my riding. I get asked a lot if I named that boat. The truth of the matter is that I did not; I am Chris B. Lewis.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"6359086\" data-originallang=\"en\">We thank Constable Marc Hovingh for his service, not only to Ontario but to Canada.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"6359087\" data-originallang=\"en\">I got a text from my mother last night. She is in Silver Water with my father. I know I am not speaking to Bill <a data-HoCid=\"10867694\" href=\"/bills/43-2/C-3/\" title=\"An Act to amend the Judges Act and the Criminal Code\">C-3</a>, but this is very important. She sent me a text asking what was going on in Gore Bay. I told her I did not know what she was talking about. This is where our family cottage of 23 years is. To find out when such hurt happens on the largest freshwater island in the world and the smallest community, quite frankly, it is astonishing and it is sad.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"6359088\" data-originallang=\"en\">My heart goes out to the family of Constable Hovingh and to all the residents of Manitoulin Island. I know he will be dearly missed, and I thank him very much for his service.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"6359089\" data-originallang=\"en\">I would ask this House to please join me, just for 20 seconds of thought for the constable. This is absolutely astonishing. I will take 20 seconds of my time to remember him.</p>\n<p class=\"procedural\" data-HoCid=\"6359090\">[<em>A moment of silence observed</em>]</p>",

On me demande souvent si j'ai d\u00e9cid\u00e9 du nom de ce bateau. \u00c0 vrai dire, je ne l'ai pas fait: je m'appelle Chris B. Elle se trouve \u00e0 Silver Water avec mon p\u00e8re. C'est absolument consternant.
