"en": "<p data-HoCid=\"6348928\" data-originallang=\"en\">Madam Speaker, I too would like to echo the part of the speech by the member for <a data-HoCid=\"252807\" href=\"/politicians/stephanie-kusie/\" title=\"Stephanie Kusie\">Calgary Midnapore</a> that acknowledged the leadership of Rona Ambrose.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"6348929\" data-originallang=\"en\">I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Ms. Ambrose for her leadership in bringing this bill forward. The fact we are still debating it today I think speaks to that.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"6348930\" data-originallang=\"en\">I want to ask the member this. There was some specific debate at the justice committee on how to broaden the term \u201csocial context\u201d, and there was debate over the term \u201csystemic\u201d, so we now have in this bill reference to systemic racism and systemic discrimination. I would like to hear not only the member's comments on why it is important that this federal statute now acknowledge systemic racism and systemic discrimination in the justice system, but also her thoughts on what we need to do beyond legislation to ensure that everyone, no matter their background, who goes through the justice system feels accepted, that their experience is going to be valued and that they will get the justice they deserve.</p>",

Aussi, aujourd'hui, on parle, dans ce projet de loi, de racisme syst\u00e9mique et de discrimination syst\u00e9mique. J'aimerais que la d\u00e9put\u00e9e nous dise non seulement pourquoi il est important que cette loi f\u00e9d\u00e9rale reconnaisse maintenant l'existence de racisme syst\u00e9mique et de discrimination syst\u00e9mique au sein de l'appareil judiciaire, mais aussi qu'elle nous donne une id\u00e9e sur ce que nous devons faire, outre les mesures l\u00e9gislatives, pour que tous ceux qui passent par le syst\u00e8me judiciaire, quel que soit leur pass\u00e9, se sentent accept\u00e9s, sachent que leur exp\u00e9rience sera prise en compte et qu'ils obtiendront la justice qu'ils m\u00e9ritent. </p>"
