He will be pleased to hear that we have invested already $300,000 in two projects in the town of Oliver. In October of last year we met with the outgoing mayor, Ron Hovanes, and chief of the Osoyoos first nation, Clarence Louie, a meeting which my colleague attended.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"5993325\" data-originallang=\"en\">The member for <a data-HoCid=\"214446\" href=\"/politicians/richard-cannings/\" title=\"Richard Cannings\">South Okanagan\u2014West Kootenay</a> is well aware that our office is continuing to engage with the new mayor and his council. We are working tirelessly to make sure that we can invest in the town of Oliver.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"5993326\" data-originallang=\"en\">We will continue to work, as we have done before, to make sure that the people of Oliver have what they deserve.</p>",
