Once again, the rich get away with a slap on the wrist and a warning not to do it again.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"5956382\" data-originallang=\"fr\">Yet, three years ago, the <a data-HoCid=\"214329\" href=\"/politicians/diane-lebouthillier/\" title=\"Diane Lebouthillier\">Minister of National Revenue</a> told us to our faces that there was no amnesty, that there had never been an amnesty, that the agency would never offer an amnesty. In the KPMG affair, she publicly stated, \u201cThe agency will definitely exhaust all judicial avenues.\u201d </p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"5956383\" data-originallang=\"fr\">She also stated that KPMG's clients could face criminal charges and that there would be no amnesty agreement.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"5956384\" data-originallang=\"fr\">Today, the minister is once again putting her incompetence on full display by casting blame on everyone but herself. Today, she is saying that she will look into the matter to resolve the problem. That is ridiculous. The minister has had four years to fix our two-tiered tax system, but her record is clear: no convictions, no arrests, no money recovered in cases of tax evasion abroad.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"5956385\" data-originallang=\"fr\">The minister just lost the little credibility she had. She only has herself to blame for all of this.</p>",

Dans l\u2019affaire KPMG, elle disait publiquement: \u00ab C\u2019est s\u00fbr que l\u2019Agence va aller jusqu\u2019au bout dans les proc\u00e9dures judiciaires. \u00bb</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"5956383\" data-originallang=\"fr\">Elle disait aussi que les clients de KPMG pourraient faire l\u2019objet d\u2019accusations criminelles et qu\u2019il n\u2019y aurait pas d\u2019entente de pardon.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"5956384\" data-originallang=\"fr\">La ministre nous d\u00e9montre aujourd\u2019hui, encore une fois, son incomp\u00e9tence en rejetant le bl\u00e2me sur tout le monde sauf sur elle. Elle dit aujourd\u2019hui qu\u2019elle va faire sa petite enqu\u00eate pour r\u00e9gler le probl\u00e8me. C\u2019est ridicule. La ministre a eu quatre ans pour r\u00e9parer notre syst\u00e8me fiscal \u00e0 deux vitesses, pourtant son bilan est tout autre: aucune condamnation, aucune arrestation, aucune somme r\u00e9cup\u00e9r\u00e9e pour l\u2019\u00e9vasion fiscale \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tranger. </p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"5956385\" data-originallang=\"fr\">La ministre vient de perdre le peu de cr\u00e9dibilit\u00e9 qu'il lui restait. La seule personne \u00e0 bl\u00e2mer l\u00e0-dedans, c\u2019est elle-m\u00eame.</p>"
