In his preamble, he congratulated his own party for what he is characterizing as the great work it has done in collection, which the Liberals measure only by the amount of money they spend. That is how they measure action, I guess, on that side. </p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"5848166\" data-originallang=\"en\">I wonder if the member actually read the Auditor General's report tabled this fall, wherein the Auditor General said that there is no evidence that any of the additional money spent had any successful or tangible result. The report remarked on how the agency treats those who have offshore transactions differently than domestic taxpayers.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"5848167\" data-originallang=\"en\">The government is in the fourth year of its mandate. It has its own track record now. The Auditor General has revealed just how poorly the government has done, despite the money it has spent on overseas tax avoidance and evasion. There have been 11 convictions and sentencing events in the last 12 months, out of 30 million taxes filed. </p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"5848168\" data-originallang=\"en\">I want to answer his question, though. He asked what information should be provided. Right now, we do not know who has been convicted. We do not know whether they are foreign or domestic. The current minister has mixed those two in her answers and replies in this House. We want specificity with the reporting of convictions, whether they are domestic or foreign. </p>",

Le rapport fait remarquer que l'agence traite les personnes qui effectuent des transactions \u00e0 l'\u00e9tranger diff\u00e9remment des autres contribuables canadiens.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"5848167\" data-originallang=\"en\">Le gouvernement en est \u00e0 la quatri\u00e8me ann\u00e9e de son mandat. On peut constater son bilan. Le v\u00e9rificateur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral a fait la lumi\u00e8re sur les pi\u00e8tres r\u00e9sultats obtenus par le gouvernement, dans la lutte contre l'\u00e9vitement fiscal et l'\u00e9vasion fiscale \u00e0 l'\u00e9tranger, malgr\u00e9 les sommes que ce dernier y a engag\u00e9es. Sur les 30 millions de d\u00e9clarations de revenus produites l'an dernier, 11 ont fait l'objet de d\u00e9clarations de culpabilit\u00e9 et de peines.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"5848168\" data-originallang=\"en\">Je tiens cependant \u00e0 r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 sa question. Il veut savoir quels renseignements devraient \u00eatre fournis. \u00c0 l'heure actuelle, nous ne savons pas qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9clar\u00e9 coupable. Nous ne savons pas si les infractions ont eu lieu au Canada ou \u00e0 l'\u00e9tranger. La ministre a confondu ces deux aspects dans ses r\u00e9ponses \u00e0 la Chambre. Nous voulons que les rapports sur les d\u00e9clarations de culpabilit\u00e9 pr\u00e9cisent s'il s'agit d'infractions commises au pays ou \u00e0 l'\u00e9tranger. </p>"
