In 2014 we had a first-come, first-served application system that did not work. In 2016 we moved to a lottery system that was not working very well, and last year, we moved to another system, but I have had constituents come into my office time and time again to complain that the portal was only open for a few minutes.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"5847208\" data-originallang=\"en\">Can the <a data-HoCid=\"229219\" href=\"/politicians/ahmed-hussen/\" title=\"Ahmed Hussen\">Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship</a> please update this House to ensure that family reunification is fair and transparent for all Canadians?</p>",
