The chair of the finance committee slammed his gavel down, said the questions were completely out of order and suspended the meeting altogether. </p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"5803424\" data-originallang=\"en\">We now know, from the former <a data-HoCid=\"214558\" href=\"/politicians/jody-wilson-raybould/\" title=\"Jody Wilson-Raybould\">attorney general</a>, that the <a data-HoCid=\"214320\" href=\"/politicians/bill-morneau/\" title=\"Bill Morneau\">finance minister</a> inappropriately pressured her in that matter. Why will the <a data-HoCid=\"214320\" href=\"/politicians/bill-morneau/\" title=\"Bill Morneau\">finance minister</a> not testify as to his conduct in this matter before the finance committee?</p>",
