Therefore, when the price of carbon is increased, we will not see a lot of behaviour changed, but we will see a restriction or a constriction on economic growth, as well as the ability of Canadians to make ends meet.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"5753377\" data-originallang=\"en\">That is why this will not work, the $40 price on carbon. One of my colleagues from Quebec boldly said that they really wanted to increase this tax. The government has not been able to show at what price behaviour would change in Canada and it has not been able to show when the carbon tax it has introduced would actually meet the emissions targets.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"5753378\" data-originallang=\"en\">That is why the carbon tax is such a fallacy and it is something the Liberal government should be walking away from.</p>",
