The Bloc Qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois stands with the victims. Our hearts go out to them in this difficult time as their resilience is put to the test. I want to thank the first responders and volunteers who are providing invaluable support.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"5528902\" data-originallang=\"fr\">Yesterday, the Government of Quebec announced immediate financial assistance as we await the final tally of the damage. I expect the Canadian government will do the same.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"5528903\" data-originallang=\"fr\">We are also appealing to the public's generosity. For local residents, donations of non-perishable food and personal hygiene products are being collected at the former Sears location at the Galleries de Hull. Quebeckers can donate money to the Red Cross online or by telephone.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"5528904\" data-originallang=\"fr\">Hang in there, Gatineau.</p>",
