However, it is very disappointing that even though we support this bill, not all the committee's recommendations will be implemented. I am a member of the Standing Committee on Official Languages and when we prepare reports we are disappointed by the response from the government after making our recommendations. It is the same old story with Bill <a data-HoCid=\"9057534\" href=\"/bills/42-1/C-57/\" title=\"An Act to amend the Federal Sustainable Development Act\">C-57</a>. The committee agreed on several recommendations and the government came up with a bill that does not respect the spirit of all those recommendations.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"5442824\" data-originallang=\"fr\">For example, witnesses mentioned that despite the definition of sustainable development, this bill only refers to the environmental decision-making process and there is no vision for the environmental and social aspects that are the main pillars of sustainable development.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"5442825\" data-originallang=\"fr\">Does my colleague believe, as I do, that the government should pay careful attention to committee reports, including the one on this bill?</p>",
