What has happened over the last three years is that the economic approach we have taken has made an enormous difference for Canadians. Not only have we made a huge difference in unemployment and brought in processes that led to wage increases, but importantly we have also found a way to lift 650,000 Canadians out of poverty through the Canada child benefit, the Canada workers benefit, and the increase in the guaranteed income supplement.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"5678305\" data-originallang=\"en\">This is important work that will continue with the investments that will be made to create future jobs because of what we announced yesterday.</p>",
