"en": "<p data-HoCid=\"5582629\" data-originallang=\"fr\">Mr. Speaker, last week, the <a data-HoCid=\"241725\" href=\"/politicians/kirsty-duncan/\" title=\"Kirsty Duncan\">Minister of Science and Sport</a> accompanied me to Western University for the grand opening of its new engineering building, for which I had the honour to announce, on behalf of the <a data-HoCid=\"214319\" href=\"/politicians/navdeep-bains/\" title=\"Navdeep Bains\">Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development</a>, a contribution of $22.5 million in September 2016 under the post-secondary institutions strategic investment fund. </p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"5582630\" data-originallang=\"en\">As an alumni and former faculty member of Western, it was remarkable to see a building open that would inspire students and faculty alike to learn, innovate and advance. An added surprise was when Western Chancellor Jack Cowin and his wife Sharon donated $5 million and named the building in honour of the outgoing president, Dr. Amit Chakma.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"5582631\" data-originallang=\"en\">Dr. Chakma has accomplished much in his role, including drastically increasing international student enrolment, significantly increasing\u2014</p>",
