The member across has been very proud of his feminist PM and suggests that the impact of our actions has not been positive. I would like to suggest that his feminist PM has lost touch with what is important to women overall and has become quite selective in that feminism.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4832270\" data-originallang=\"en\">The Status of Women report gave no recognition in regard to violence against pregnant women, a time when we are most vulnerable. Nothing was mentioned in that report in regard to women in this state. </p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4832271\" data-originallang=\"en\">As well, the <a data-HoCid=\"229211\" href=\"/politicians/maryam-monsef/\" title=\"Maryam Monsef\">Minister of Status of Women</a> at committee avoided the question when asked whether or not violence against baby girls through selective abortion was an attack on women as well.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4832272\" data-originallang=\"en\"> I would like to have the member's comments on that, since there is this concern about feminism and I am concerned about women in all aspects of their lives.</p>",
