Our government takes the health and well-being of Canadians very seriously. This is something we in the Liberal Party have been talking about for years. Members of our party who are very well informed about this issue have made it clear that the current system has resulted in Canadian youth having one of the highest cannabis consumption levels in the world. </p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"5146050\" data-originallang=\"fr\">It is clear that our predecessors' approach is not working. It is time to introduce a new system. That is exactly what our government set out to do, and that is what we will do to protect Canadians. </p>",

Des membres de notre parti qui sont tr\u00e8s inform\u00e9s sur cette question ont clairement indiqu\u00e9 que notre syst\u00e8me actuel a men\u00e9 les jeunes Canadiens \u00e0 un niveau de consommation de cannabis parmi les plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s au monde.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"5146050\" data-originallang=\"fr\">Il est clair que l'approche des anciens gouvernements ne fonctionne pas. Il est temps d'avoir un nouveau syst\u00e8me. C'est exactement ce que notre gouvernement propose, et c'est que nous allons faire pour prot\u00e9ger les Canadiens et les Canadiennes.</p>"
