        "en": "<p data-HoCid=\"5035436\" data-originallang=\"en\">Mr. Speaker, I have had the opportunity, this morning and this afternoon, to emphasize the fact that we had a Standing Committee on Health, which has done a great deal of work.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"5035437\" data-originallang=\"en\">The motion presented by the opposition is based on the parliamentary budget officer's report, a report that was requested by the hard-working Standing Committee on Health. If it were not for that request, the opposition would not have that report, on which the motion is based.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"5035438\" data-originallang=\"en\">Canadians are driving the issue. We are listening to what Canadians have to say. One of the first actions of the former minister of health was to get the provinces to come together to deal with lowering the costs of pharmaceuticals. The minister of health also achieved the health care accord. All of that within 18 months.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"5035439\" data-originallang=\"en\">Our government is in tune with what Canadians want. We have a standing committee that is working hard. I have a very simple question for the member.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"5035440\" data-originallang=\"en\">In devising its motion, the NDP forgot to include the territories, and I do not know why. Would the member not agree that any sort of agreement has to include working with the stakeholders, with the provinces and territories, and indigenous people? All have to be engaged on this very important issue. Would the member not agree with that?</p>",

Nous \u00e9coutons ce que les Canadiens ont \u00e0 dire. L'une des premi\u00e8res mesures que l'ancienne ministre de la Sant\u00e9 a prises a \u00e9t\u00e9 de r\u00e9unir les provinces pour s'occuper de la r\u00e9duction du co\u00fbt des m\u00e9dicaments. C'est aussi elle qui a conclu l'accord sur les soins de sant\u00e9. Elle a pris toutes ces mesures en 18 mois.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"5035439\" data-originallang=\"en\">Le gouvernement est au diapason des d\u00e9sirs des Canadiens. Nous avons un comit\u00e9 permanent qui travaille fort. J'ai une question toute simple pour la d\u00e9put\u00e9e.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"5035440\" data-originallang=\"en\">En formulant cette motion, le NPD a oubli\u00e9 d'inclure les territoires, et je ne sais pas pourquoi. La d\u00e9put\u00e9e ne convient-elle pas que toute entente suppose qu'on s'entende avec les principaux int\u00e9ress\u00e9s, en l'occurrence les provinces et les territoires ainsi que le peuple autochtone? Tous doivent \u00eatre consult\u00e9s sur cette question tr\u00e8s importante. La d\u00e9put\u00e9e n'est-elle pas d'accord?</p>"
