"en": "<p data-HoCid=\"4423093\" data-originallang=\"fr\">Mr. Speaker, I am very pleased to announce that a citizen of Lachine was chosen as the new guard for the Phoenix Mercury professional basketball team.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4423094\" data-originallang=\"fr\">Nirra Wellman Fields is only the second Montrealer to be on a WNBA team. Before being drafted, number 21 began her career at LaSalle Elementary Senior, and then became part of the starting lineup for the UCLA Bruins, where she broke many records.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4423095\" data-originallang=\"en\">I would also like to mention another amazing person: Faith Fields, Nirra's mother.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4423096\" data-originallang=\"en\">Faith raised seven children by herself and taught them the importance of believing in themselves and working hard to achieve their goals.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4423097\" data-originallang=\"en\">If members ever find themselves in Phoenix, I recommend that they go and catch a game, but do not go in August as Nirra will be busy in Brazil, with the rest of our basketball team, working hard to bring us the gold.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4423098\" data-originallang=\"en\">I wish her and all her fellow athletes good luck, and \u201cGo Nirra, go Mercury, go Canada!\u201d</p>",
