On behalf of the Bloc Qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois, I wish to extend my heartfelt condolences to the families and friends of the seven victims of that terrible accident.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4266131\" data-originallang=\"fr\">I am not exaggerating when I say that Quebeckers across the province are thinking of them. It is important to me to pay tribute to Jean Lapierre, who was killed in the accident.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4266132\" data-originallang=\"fr\">Jean Lapierre is well known in the House of Commons. He was elected five times and represented two parties, including the Bloc Qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois. However, he made a name for himself and was known above all in his home province, Quebec, where he was a brilliant political analyst known for his knowledge of a range of issues and his legendary and colourful eloquence, which won over Quebeckers of all political stripes.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4266133\" data-originallang=\"fr\">His morning radio segment tuned us in to what was on the minds of Quebeckers and Canadians on a daily basis. </p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4266134\" data-originallang=\"fr\">Thank you, Jean.</p>",

Il y a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9lu cinq fois et y a si\u00e9g\u00e9 sous deux banni\u00e8res, dont celle du Bloc qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois. Toutefois, il s'est surtout fait conna\u00eetre et appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 chez lui, au Qu\u00e9bec, o\u00f9 il a brill\u00e9 dans son r\u00f4le de chroniqueur politique, tant par sa connaissance des dossiers que par son verbe l\u00e9gendaire et color\u00e9 qui charmait les Qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois de toute all\u00e9geance politique.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4266133\" data-originallang=\"fr\">L'\u00e9couter le matin, c'\u00e9tait prendre le pouls du Qu\u00e9bec et du Canada tout entier pour la journ\u00e9e \u00e0 venir.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4266134\" data-originallang=\"fr\"> Merci, Jean.</p>"
