"en": "<p data-HoCid=\"4512512\" data-originallang=\"fr\">Mr. Speaker, I thank my colleague for his speech. </p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4512513\" data-originallang=\"fr\">I have a question for him on the powers of the Speaker, which could be similar to those of the Speaker of the House of Commons in Great Britain, who intervenes much more frequently when the quality of an answer to a question during question period is unsatisfactory to the Speaker.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4512514\" data-originallang=\"fr\">On occasion, when a person answers a question the Speaker feels that the answer has nothing to do with the question; the Speaker then calls the member who answered the question to order, whether that member is the prime minister or another minister, and asks the member to rephrase the answer because it was unsatisfactory or had nothing to do with the question.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4512515\" data-originallang=\"fr\">Does my colleague think that it would be beneficial for the Speaker of the House of Commons to have more powers and the ability to judge the quality of the answer by asking the person speaking to rephrase the answer and directly relate it to the question being asked?</p>",

Ce dernier intervient beaucoup plus r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement lorsque la qualit\u00e9 d'une r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 une question pos\u00e9e lors de la p\u00e9riode des questions ne le satisfait pas.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4512514\" data-originallang=\"fr\">\u00c0 quelques reprises, lorsqu'une personne r\u00e9pondait \u00e0 une question et que le Pr\u00e9sident sentait que la r\u00e9ponse d\u00e9viait compl\u00e8tement de la question pos\u00e9e, ce dernier se permettait de rappeler \u00e0 l'ordre la personne qui r\u00e9pondait \u00e0 la question, qu'il s'agisse du premier ministre ou d'autres ministres, et lui demandait de reformuler sa r\u00e9ponse, parce que celle-ci n'\u00e9tait pas satisfaisante ou n'avait aucun lien avec la question.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4512515\" data-originallang=\"fr\">Mon coll\u00e8gue pense-t-il que ce serait une bonne chose que le Pr\u00e9sident de la Chambre des communes ait davantage de pouvoirs et puisse se permettre de juger la qualit\u00e9 des r\u00e9ponses en demandant \u00e0 l'orateur de reformuler sa r\u00e9ponse afin qu'elle ait un lien direct avec la question qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 pos\u00e9e?</p>"
