I can even assure my colleagues that we are starting to become friends. Yesterday, I wrote to the chair of the Standing Committee on Procedure and House Affairs to ask him whether I could appear before the committee to share our ideas with our committee colleagues. He recently informed me that I could appear in committee as early as Thursday of this week. </p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4180284\" data-originallang=\"fr\">I am therefore extremely confident that, with the help of our colleagues and the support of members of the House, we will be able to make Parliament more effective and achieve a better work-life balance.</p>",

Hier, j'ai \u00e9crit au pr\u00e9sident du Comit\u00e9 permanent de la proc\u00e9dure et des affaires de la Chambre pour lui demander s'il \u00e9tait possible de t\u00e9moigner et de partager nos id\u00e9es avec nos coll\u00e8gues du Comit\u00e9. Il m'a r\u00e9cemment inform\u00e9 que je pourrais m\u00eame y aller jeudi de cette semaine.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4180284\" data-originallang=\"fr\"> Je demeure donc \u00e9norm\u00e9ment confiant qu'avec nos coll\u00e8gues et l'appui des d\u00e9put\u00e9s de la Chambre nous pourrons arriver \u00e0 rendre plus efficace non seulement le Parlement, mais aussi la conciliation travail-famille. </p>"
