We can hardly wait.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4165343\" data-originallang=\"en\">I have thanks to give as well.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4165344\" data-originallang=\"fr\"> I really appreciate the work of the <a data-HoCid=\"170693\" href=\"/politicians/peter-van-loan/\" title=\"Peter Van Loan\">Leader of the Government in the House of Commons</a>. He is so knowledgeable and energetic.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4165345\" data-originallang=\"fr\"> I would also like to thank the Liberal Party's House leader, the member for <a data-HoCid=\"170282\" href=\"/politicians/dominic-leblanc/\" title=\"Dominic LeBlanc\">Beaus\u00e9jour</a>, who has so much experience as an MP and as the Liberal House leader. </p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4165346\" data-originallang=\"fr\">I wish both of them a great summer, and of course I wish them luck in the election.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4165347\" data-originallang=\"en\">As my colleague from <a data-HoCid=\"170199\" href=\"/politicians/chris-charlton/\" title=\"Chris Charlton\">Hamilton Mountain</a> did a few years back, I would also like to recognize all those who keep the House running. Canadians watching at home might not realize it, but there is a huge network of very talented and professional staff who work tirelessly to make this place run like clockwork.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4165348\" data-originallang=\"en\">First, there is you, Mr. Speaker, and your staff, along with the procedural experts in the offices of the clerks, the Table, the Journals Branch, the Committee Directorate staff, the Library of Parliament staff, and all our incredible pages who do a wonderful job. It is fair to say that the pages of the House of Commons rock, and they do a wonderful job.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4165349\" data-originallang=\"en\">We also saw first-hand last October the courage of our security agents, RCMP officials and the Sergeant-at-Arms. We salute them always for their bravery.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4165350\" data-originallang=\"fr\"> I would also like to thank everyone responsible for traffic operations, the people who drive our green buses, dispatch officers, mail room staff and messengers. I thank the cafeteria staff and the food services and catering team. I thank the maintenance staff and the tradespeople working in the parliamentary precinct, as well as those in charge of materiel management and room allocation.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4165351\" data-originallang=\"en\">There is everyone in Information Services, including telecom, ISSI, printing services, the broadcasting team, and the people who deal with human resources, finance, travel and pay and benefits.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4165352\" data-originallang=\"en\">Finally, there are the folks at <em>Hansard</em>, who transcribe and edit of all our words, and those who translate and interpret them from one official language to the other. Given that the NDP is a bilingual caucus, we appreciate all of the work that is done by the interpreters and translators.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4165353\" data-originallang=\"en\">The official opposition NDP wishes one and all a happy summer with lots of door knocking.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4165354\" data-originallang=\"fr\">We will see each other again after the election, and we truly hope to have a new government, an NDP government.</p>",

Les Canadiens qui nous regardent \u00e0 la t\u00e9l\u00e9vision n'en sont peut-\u00eatre pas conscients, mais un vaste r\u00e9seau d'employ\u00e9s extr\u00eamement talentueux et professionnels travaillent sans rel\u00e2che pour que les travaux de la Chambre soient r\u00e9gl\u00e9s comme du papier \u00e0 musique.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4165348\" data-originallang=\"en\">Il s'agit d'abord de vous et votre \u00e9quipe, monsieur le Pr\u00e9sident, de m\u00eame que les experts en proc\u00e9dure au Bureau du greffier, les greffiers au Bureau, la Direction des Journaux, la Direction des comit\u00e9s, la Biblioth\u00e8que du Parlement, sans oublier nos magnifiques pages qui, il faut le reconna\u00eetre, font un travail extraordinaire.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4165349\" data-originallang=\"en\">En octobre denier, nous avons pu constater par nous-m\u00eames le courage de nos agents de s\u00e9curit\u00e9, des agents de la GRC et du sergent d'armes. Nous leur serons toujours reconnaissants de leur bravoure.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4165350\" data-originallang=\"fr\">Je remercie aussi les responsables de la circulation, les chauffeurs de nos autobus verts, les r\u00e9partiteurs, le personnel de la salle du courrier et les messagers; je remercie le personnel de la caf\u00e9t\u00e9ria et de l'\u00e9quipe des services alimentaires et de traiteur; je remercie le personnel d'entretien, les gens de m\u00e9tier qui travaillent dans la Cit\u00e9 parlementaire ainsi que les responsables de la gestion du mat\u00e9riel et de l'affectation des salles.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4165351\" data-originallang=\"en\">Il y a tous les employ\u00e9s des services d'information, y compris les t\u00e9l\u00e9communications, ISSI, les services d'impression et l'\u00e9quipe de la radiodiffusion. Il y a aussi le personnel des ressources humaines, des finances, des voyages et de la r\u00e9mun\u00e9ration, et des avantages sociaux.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4165352\" data-originallang=\"en\">Finalement, y a le personnel du hansard, qui retranscrit tous nos propos, et bien s\u00fbr, les traducteurs et les interpr\u00e8tes, qui traduisent nos propos d'une langue officielle \u00e0 l'autre. \u00c9tant donn\u00e9 le bilinguisme au sein du caucus du NPD, nous sommes tr\u00e8s reconnaissants de tout le travail effectu\u00e9 par les interpr\u00e8tes et les traducteurs.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4165353\" data-originallang=\"en\">L'opposition officielle souhaite \u00e0 tous de passer un bel \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e0 faire beaucoup de porte-\u00e0-porte.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4165354\" data-originallang=\"fr\">Nous nous verrons apr\u00e8s les \u00e9lections, et nous esp\u00e9rons bien avoir un nouveau gouvernement, un gouvernement n\u00e9o-d\u00e9mocrate.</p>"
