"en": "<p data-HoCid=\"4126637\" data-originallang=\"en\">Mr. Speaker, today I rise to honour the memory of Robert Huskinson, late of Brockville, Ontario, in my riding of <a data-HoCid=\"170192\" href=\"/politicians/gord-brown/\" title=\"Gord Brown\">Leeds\u2014Grenville</a>.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4126638\" data-originallang=\"en\">Bob, as he was known, was the longest-serving council member in that city, serving for 26 consecutive years before retiring in 2006. He passed away May 3, at 77 years of age.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4126639\" data-originallang=\"en\">Bob was in municipal politics for the same reason that most of us choose to serve the public. He saw a problem that needed fixing\u2014in this case, a collapsing roof on the community centre while he was coaching minor hockey\u2014and decided to do something about it.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4126640\" data-originallang=\"en\">Colleagues and friends have noted that he was always passionate, honest, and a straight shooter who had the good of his community at the heart of everything that he did. He is remembered as a tireless worker for his city.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4126641\" data-originallang=\"en\">One person mentioned that he was Brockville's version of Winston Churchill.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4126642\" data-originallang=\"en\">On behalf of us all, I offer condolences to his wife Janice; his sons Craig, Rick, and Rob, and their wives; his brother Brian; and his many grandchildren, friends, and supporters.</p>",
