        "en": "<p data-HoCid=\"4060667\" data-originallang=\"en\">Mr. Speaker, I appreciate a number of the comments that the member has put forward. I just want to take this opportunity to highlight what the leader of the Liberal party said in his speech yesterday in addressing the budget.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4060668\" data-originallang=\"en\"> He pointed out that there is this basic unfairness about the budget and. It would enrich the rich of Canada in an unfair fashion and at a substantial cost to the middle class and those who aspire to get into the middle class. That is one of the reasons that we moved forward on that particular amendment. The other issue is that the budget itself contains no real plan for job growth. As a result, this would not be good for Canada's short-term and long-term economy.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4060669\" data-originallang=\"en\">My question for the member is related more to the last point. When we think of economic growth, one of the things that is so critically important is Canada's infrastructure. This is an area in which the government has been grossly negligent over the last couple of years. We have seen substantial decreases of more than 80% in actual budget dollars being spent at a time when we should be investing in infrastructure. This budget is once again reinforcing that the government does not believe in investing in Canada's infrastructure.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4060670\" data-originallang=\"en\">Would the member not agree that by denying that, we would actually be killing jobs in the future?</p>",

Je tiens \u00e0 profiter de l'occasion pour souligner ce qu'a dit le chef du Parti lib\u00e9ral hier pendant son discours sur le budget.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4060668\" data-originallang=\"en\">Il a signal\u00e9 que ce budget est fondamentalement in\u00e9quitable et qu'il enrichirait injustement les bien nantis du Canada \u00e0 un co\u00fbt \u00e9norme pour la classe moyenne et pour ceux qui aspirent \u00e0 y acc\u00e9der. C'est l'une des raisons pour lesquelles nous avons propos\u00e9 cet amendement. L'autre probl\u00e8me, c'est que le budget ne contient pas en soi de v\u00e9ritable plan pour la cr\u00e9ation d'emplois. Par cons\u00e9quent, il ne serait pas avantageux pour l'\u00e9conomie canadienne, \u00e0 court terme et \u00e0 long terme. </p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4060669\" data-originallang=\"en\">La question que je veux poser \u00e0 la d\u00e9put\u00e9e porte sur ce dernier point. Les infrastructures du Canada sont l'un des \u00e9l\u00e9ments qui rev\u00eatent une importance vitale pour la croissance \u00e9conomique. Le gouvernement a \u00e9t\u00e9 extr\u00eamement n\u00e9gligent \u00e0 cet \u00e9gard au cours des derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es. \u00c0 un moment o\u00f9 il faudrait investir dans les infrastructures, les d\u00e9penses budg\u00e9taires \u00e0 ce titre ont connu une baisse substantielle de plus de 80 %. Ce budget souligne une fois de plus que le gouvernement ne croit pas qu'il faut investir dans les infrastructures.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4060670\" data-originallang=\"en\">La d\u00e9put\u00e9e ne croit-elle pas que ce refus pourrait entra\u00eener des pertes d'emplois \u00e0 l'avenir?</p>"
