"en": "<p data-HoCid=\"4029875\" data-originallang=\"fr\">Mr. Speaker, on May 29, 2012, one of my constituents in Brossard\u2014La Prairie, Constable Carl \u00c9thier, from the Service de police de la Ville de Montr\u00e9al, rescued a suicidal woman who was threatening to jump off the top of a 22-storey building.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4029876\" data-originallang=\"fr\"> Constable \u00c9thier and his colleague, Constable Roberge, scaled a four-foot-high safety wall and crawled onto a narrow ledge towards the intoxicated woman. They placed themselves dangerously close to the edge in order to reach her and bring her to safety.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4029877\" data-originallang=\"fr\">I invite all of my colleagues in the House to join me in congratulating Constable \u00c9thier and his colleague Constable Roberge for this remarkable act, for which they received the Governor General's Medal of Bravery. This decoration recognizes acts of bravery in hazardous circumstances. </p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"4029878\" data-originallang=\"fr\">I extend our congratulations and our deepest gratitude to our men and women in uniform.</p>",
