"en": "<p data-HoCid=\"3566761\" data-originallang=\"en\">Mr. Speaker, I rise this morning to present two petitions.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"3566762\" data-originallang=\"en\">The first relates to the ongoing investigation of the calls that were made, generally referred to as robocalls, in 2011.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"3566763\" data-originallang=\"en\">It is a timely petition because, as we know, Bill <a data-HoCid=\"6398775\" href=\"/bills/41-2/C-23/\" title=\"An Act to amend the Canada Elections Act and other Acts and to make consequential amendments to certain Acts\">C-23</a> actually has a good regime. One part of Bill C-23 that I like is the part that deals with regulating robocalls.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"3566764\" data-originallang=\"en\">The petitioners in this case are from the Ottawa area and some from British Columbia. They are calling for a full inquiry to get to the bottom of what occurred in 2011.</p>",
