When the director took a stand, Carl Vall\u00e9e wrote back that they would \u201chave to consider other options\u201d, and that is a threat. When those threats come from the office that controls the purse strings, that is a really big problem. </p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"3910952\" data-originallang=\"fr\"> How can the <a data-HoCid=\"194612\" href=\"/politicians/shelly-glover/\" title=\"Shelly Glover\">Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages</a> possibly think that Canadians believe her when she says that the cuts to CBC were not ideological? Come on. </p>",
