Who does she think should make decisions about a museum's mission and mandate?</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"3420328\" data-originallang=\"fr\">As she pointed out today, a minister is the one who came up with this idea. That is fine, in theory. However, he is using his own idea as the basis for a bill that redefines the name and mandate of a museum. Even now, we still do not know who was consulted before Bill <a data-HoCid=\"5859844\" href=\"/bills/41-1/C-49/\" title=\"An Act to amend the Museums Act in order to establish the Canadian Museum of History and to make consequential amendments to other Acts\">C-49</a> was drafted.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"3420329\" data-originallang=\"fr\">Could my colleague tell us who she thinks should be consulted when a museum's mandate is written?</p>",
