"en": "<p data-HoCid=\"3210064\" data-originallang=\"fr\">Mr. Speaker, one does not gain more credibility by being contemptuous or condescending.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"3210065\" data-originallang=\"fr\">With all the information given here, I would like to know who was consulted about the amendments that Bill <a data-HoCid=\"5754371\" href=\"/bills/41-1/C-45/\" title=\"A second Act to implement certain provisions of the budget tabled in Parliament on March 29, 2012 and other measures\">C-45</a> makes to the Navigable Waters Act and other laws.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"3210066\" data-originallang=\"fr\">Did the Conservatives consult with first nations? Did they consult the public? I do not imagine so because, if they had, there would not be so many protests.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"3210067\" data-originallang=\"fr\">Did they consult with fishers? Did they consult with people who live near waterways and who would have claims to make? Did they consult with scientists who make recommendations?</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"3210068\" data-originallang=\"fr\">I do not think so because there are still thousands of scientists from all backgrounds who disagree with this legislation, who have written about it and expressed their opinions in the media.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"3210069\" data-originallang=\"fr\">It seems that the people who are happy with these changes are the people from the oil and gas industry. That is not surprising because they are getting exactly what they asked for.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"3210070\" data-originallang=\"fr\">Through the Access to Information Act, we were able to obtain a letter written by the Association of Oil and Gas Producers asking for amendments to the Fisheries Act, the Environmental Assessment Act, the National Energy Board Act and the Navigable Waters Act. What a surprise. No scientists were consulted.</p>",

Ce n'est pas surprenant, parce que c'est exactement ce qu'ils demandaient. </p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"3210070\" data-originallang=\"fr\">Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la Loi d'acc\u00e8s \u00e0 l'information, on a pu prendre connaissance d'une lettre r\u00e9dig\u00e9e par l'Association des producteurs de gaz et de p\u00e9trole qui demandent des modifications \u00e0 la Loi sur les p\u00eaches, \u00e0 la Loi sur l'\u00e9valuation environnementale, \u00e0 la Loi sur l'office national de l'\u00e9nergie et \u00e0 la Loi sur les eaux navigables.
