I think there is hardly a member of this House who does not know someone who has been affected by this terrible disease.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"3490138\" data-originallang=\"en\">I am very encouraged by the level of support being received. The petitioners who signed the petition I submit today are from Salt Spring Island in British Columbia, in my riding.</p>",
