"en": "<p data-HoCid=\"3164113\" data-originallang=\"en\">Mr. Speaker, it is with pleasure I table a petition today, signed by many residents of <a data-HoCid=\"170750\" href=\"/politicians/kevin-lamoureux/\" title=\"Kevin Lamoureux\">Winnipeg North</a>, who are calling upon the government to not increase the size of the House of Commons.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"3164114\" data-originallang=\"en\">The petitioners believe that there are better ways of spending tax dollars than bringing more members of Parliament to Ottawa. Examples of that would include our seniors' pensions, health care services and so many other things. The bottom line is that Ottawa does not need to have more than 308 members of Parliament. The petitioners would like the <a data-HoCid=\"78738\" href=\"/politicians/stephen-harper/\" title=\"Stephen Harper\">Prime Minister</a> to recognize that fact and to have better priorities in terms of providing government services.</p>",
