He appears to be in good shape. No doubt he gets a lot of energy from his tai chi practice, and I congratulate him on doing it almost daily.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"1883022\" data-originallang=\"fr\">That being said, I must point out that my colleague is not in a very good position to be criticizing the Conservative government's role and our initiatives for Quebec. Let us not forget that it was the Liberal Party of Canada, unfortunately, that sabotaged the Meech Lake accord, an accord to bring Quebec back into the Canadian Constitution. That is what brought the Bloc Qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois into being. Unfortunately, the Liberal Party of Canada helped create a unique situation in Canada in which much of Quebec's political weight has been on the opposition benches for nearly 20 years now. That is most regrettable.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"1883023\" data-originallang=\"fr\">Also regrettable is the fact that when the federal government cut public funding\u2014</p>",

On doit se rappeler que c'est malheureusement le Parti lib\u00e9ral du Canada qui est le saboteur de l'Accord du lac Meech, un accord qui visait \u00e0 faire en sorte que le Qu\u00e9bec r\u00e9int\u00e8gre la Constitution canadienne. C'est ce qui a donn\u00e9 naissance au Bloc qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois. Alors, malheureusement, le Parti lib\u00e9ral du Canada a contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 cr\u00e9er cette situation tr\u00e8s particuli\u00e8re au Canada o\u00f9, finalement, une grande partie du poids politique du Qu\u00e9bec se retrouve en quelque sorte sur les banquettes de l'opposition depuis maintenant pr\u00e8s de 20 ans.
