The subject is so big.</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"1883144\" data-originallang=\"en\">We have ridings in northern Ontario, northern B.C., Nunavut and the Northwest Territories that are so huge they have populations smaller than the ward I represented when I was on Hamilton city council. That is not pure rep by pop, but just how many hundreds of thousands of square kilometres can we expect one member of Parliament to represent?</p>\n<p data-HoCid=\"1883145\" data-originallang=\"en\">There are members here who represent 130,000 people and there are members who represent 35,000 people. That is not fair and it is not pure rep by pop, but it is another part of the ingredient that makes Canada work.</p>",
